No — you don’t need a doctor’s referral to book physiotherapy, chiropractic care, or massage therapy with us.Some insurance plans do require a referral for reimbursement, so it’s always a good idea to check your benefits. We’re happy to help you look into this.

Your first visit is all about understanding you.You’ll meet one-on-one with your practitioner, complete a full assessment, and talk through your goals. We’ll explain what we find, answer questions, and create a personalized treatment plan that supports your recovery or performance needs.

Wear something comfortable that allows you to move freely.If we’re treating a specific area (shoulder, knee, etc.), clothing that gives easy access is helpful.

Yes — we offer direct billing to most major extended health benefit providers.If your plan allows it, we can submit your claim on your behalf and let you know if there’s any balance remaining.

Thrive Physio is a private clinic and does not offer OHIP-covered physiotherapy.If you’re looking for OHIP-funded options, we’re happy to point you in the right direction.

We kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.This helps us offer the appointment time to another patient who may need care. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee.
