Allie is a physiotherapy resident who graduated from the Master of Physical Therapy program at Western University and holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Windsor. Growing up, she played a wide range of sports, including hockey, soccer, track and field, and field hockey. These experiences helped shape her passion for movement, performance and rehabilitation.
Allie’s path to physiotherapy was influenced by her experiences as a lifelong athlete, a student athletic therapist, and a strength and conditioning intern with Canada Basketball during her first master’s degree. These roles reinforced the importance of teamwork, individualized care, and setting meaningful, patient-centred goals.
She loves working with people of all ages and is passionate about creating a safe, supportive environment where patients feel understood during what can be a vulnerable time. Outside the clinic, Allie enjoys staying active through sport and working out, spending time with family at the cottage and being outdoors. A fun fact is she loves skydiving and has jumped a few times, including in Australia during one of her MSK placements.
